4-Head Net Weigh Filler, Lid Placer, Lid Closer & Fully Automated Palletizer

KA-20-005 – Kinesys Automation introduces its latest development of a full featured pail line spanning filling through palletizing.

The fully automated line designed for 5 gallon plastic pails, includes a 4-headed net weigh filler (expandable to 5-heads), a versatile lid placer to accommodate lids from 4 manufacturers, and a high throughput pail palletizer.    The line further includes a top sheet dispenser and a stretch wrapper.  Set to process 24 pails per minute, the line ejects a completed pallet at the rate of 1 pallet in 90 seconds.

Screw Lid Placer and Closer

KA-12-002 – Based on its modular approach of integrated systems, Kinesys Automation developed a standalone lid placer and lid closer for screw-on type lids on containers of varying heights. When a container passes underneath the lid placer station, the pail is raised off the conveyor. A lid is then picked off the stack and placed onto that container. The pail is then dropped back onto the conveyor to allow it to index into the closer station, where it is again lifted off the conveyor. While raised, the lid is held firmly while the pail is spun until the lid is tightened to a controlled setting. At the conclusion, the pail is lowered onto the conveyor where it is ejected from the system.

Pick and Place Metal Crimp Lid Placer

KA-10-007-12 – Kinesys Automation’s fully modular lid placer is used for lidding containers that are in continuous motion. When a container passes by the lid placer, the leading lip of the container strips a lid off the slide, resting it on top of the container. The lid placer then retrieves another lid off the stack and places it onto the slide. As each successive lid is placed, the elevator raises the stack until the entire stack is exhausted. The elevator then lowers to allow an operator to load another stack.

Compact High Speed Lid Dropper

KA-18-007-16 – High speed and compact lid dropper for friction plug style lids. Approaching speeds of 50 cycles a minute, this family of units feature a starwheel alignment fixture to ensure accurate placement of lids. All size change adjustments are made quickly and easily by means of locking levers and handwheels, eliminating the need for tools. The starwheel alignment fixture ensure that all lids are correctly positioned on the can prior to the lid closing operation. Starwheel assemblies are quickly switched out to minimize changeover downtime.

Slide and Strip Lid Placer

KA-16-016-13 – Kinesys Automation’s fully modular, mobile lid placer is used for lidding containers that are in continuous motion. When a container passes by the lid placer, the leading lip of the container strips a lid off the slide, resting it on top of the container. The lid placer then retrieves another lid off the stack and places it onto the slide. As each successive lid is placed, the elevator raises the stack until the entire stack is exhausted. The elevator then lowers to receive another stack from the accumulator. Equipped with wheels and a quick connect umbilical cable, this lid placer can be easily removed, used for multiple lines, or switched out with another style placer.
